Garden Tour

What's blooming in my neighborhood:

Bleeding hearts. I love these. If I ever have a shady garden, they're high on my list.

Creeping phlox. It's planted like this all over my neighborhood, since so many houses have steep drops from yard to street. Most of the year it's just a nice, unobjectionable ground cover, but every spring it puts on a huge display.

And my all-time favorite tree, the Eastern Redbud. Also, the lilacs and dogwoods are in bloom. I love this time of year!

Beautiful photos! I love this time of year too. (Unfortunately, my husband is highly allergic!)

You may not remember me, but I was a member of the old mothering dot commune forum and remember when you were still trying to conceive your little one (and so was I). My little girl was born June 26th, so she's not far behind Robert. :)

I've followed your blog since those old days and rarely comment (although I should more), but I wanted to say your boy is just as cute as a button and growing so big. I am always looking for ideas on homemade baby food, so I was pleased to see your recent post about that.

Anyway -- sorry to ramble. Take care and enjoy the beauties of Spring!
